I've installed the previous version you gave and everything seems fine.
I'll try this one as well.
What was the starting script issue?

It did not correctly export the pythonpath, therefore the puOpenSSL module could not be loaded. This would only impact SSL connections, which most users haven't been able to use until now anyway.... the whole point is this release was supposed to add SSL support.
