Standalone subtitle downloader request

Sick Beard is a PVR for newsgroup users (with limited torrent support). It watches for new episodes of your favorite shows and when they are posted it downloads them, sorts and renames them, and optionally generates metadata for them. It currently supports NZBs.org, NZBMatrix, NZBs'R'Us, Newzbin, Womble's Index, NZB.su, TVTorrents and EZRSS and retrieves show information from theTVDB.com and TVRage.com.

Standalone subtitle downloader request

Post by jake73 »

I know this is a lot to ask, but would a standalone app like this be hard to implement/install:
http://code.google.com/p/autosub-bootstrapbill/

I am a noob at installing stuff manually in Linux, but this sounds feasible for a knowledgeable person, or is this Synology-centric?

I would love a standalone app taking care of missed subtitles. Sickrage is already awesome, Plex does a fair bit too, but a cron job checking daily for missed subs in Movies/tv shows would be awesome.. Anyone else interested?

Well I guess Orion and me are the only ones :-). It's really a shame that a good product as Asustor has such a small community.
