Re: sickrage vs. sickbeard
I installed it, looks similar but updated interface for Sickbeard. Smoother, bit easier to navigate. Just a fork of the original? A re-boot maybe?

Re: sickrage vs. sickbeard
it is a SickBeard Fork that has been heavily developed.
SickRage includes XEM support and is not fully reliant on the TVDB.
SickRage also supports failed, downloading, Torrent support, anime and sport sequence naming, and more.

Re: sickrage vs. sickbeard
Awesome, thanks for the full explanation Clinton. I tried it out and it's like Sickbeard++. It's very cool. I'm playing with it a little, I have a lot of "fixing" to do to my library to properly import my existing shows. Naming on some of my series doesn't conform to what SickBeard/Rage expect - ie TVDB naming.

As you add each existing show, you can specify which naming provider to use. There are also naming options to use scene indexing etc...
Unfortunately, it is a new install and the old db/config is not compatible... But I've been running it for a while now and am really happy with it.
