Re: Problem when config. sickbeard
I am assuming this is the error printed in SABnzbd (or maybe NZBGet).
What you need to do is:
SABnzbd- edit /volume1/Download/nzbToMedia/autoProcessMedia.cfg and change the [SickBeard] section to have the correct username and password that you use to connect to SickBeard's web UI.
NZBGet- edit the nzbToSickBeard and nzbToMedia settings in the NZBGet web UI, again ensure th username and password for SickBeard are entered.

Re: Problem when config. sickbeard
thank you for the quick respond
you assumed correct, should have posted that. it's from sabnzbd
i don't have/use a username or password on sickbeard, but my sickbeard runs on 7071, so should I just change that and leave the username and password empty like it is now?
autoProssesMedia.cfg :
[SickBeard]
sbCategory = tv
host = localhost
port = 8081
username =
password =
web_root =
ssl = 0
delay = 0
watch_dir =
failed_fork = 0
delete_failed = 0
hmm...for some reason chrome can't open the sickbeard app any more.. just get, "sorry can't connect/open" and the ip (using chrome in my native language so it's not the exact message). any idea what the reason is ? i'v been messing around for two days to get sabnzb,sickbeard and couchpotato running smooth so it can be som error i've done now recently thats made it stop because before it stoped working my only remaning problem was (and still is) that sickbeard wouldn't post-process automatically, it worked when i told sickbeard to do it manually but not automatically. but now it's not even opening..
thanks

Re: Problem when config. sickbeard
Yes, in auoProcessMedia.cfg change the port for SickBeard to 7071. Leave the username and password blank.
Try disabling and re-enabling the SickBeard app in AppCentral and then see if you can connect again.
If not, try the following via ssh.
Post the output here if that doesn't fix the issue.

Code: Select all
/usr/local/AppCentral/sickbeard/CONTROL/start-stop.sh restart

didn't work, but not even sure if i did it right. not quite sure why I got two diffrent outputs.
if I reinstalled sickbeard would that solve the problem?
a bit of a hassle to do it all over again (and probably still won't get it right ) but maybe that's the easiest way, if it will work.. 'cause I'm waaaaaaay out of my noobzone now

Re: Problem when config. sickbeard
EUREKA!
I found the solution to my booting problem with sickbeard
the cause of the problem => me
method for discovering => coincidence
what I did was:
1. I rebooted my NAS
2. tried to open Sickbeard => failed, still the same problem
3. tried to open SabNzbd => but instead of Sabnzb opening sickbeard opend.
4. checked the config on sickbeard and sure enough I had somehow changed the port sickbeard should run on from 7071 to 8088 which is the same port as I'm running sabnzbd.
so the problem was that sickbeard wouldn't open because sabnzbd allready was running on the same port
and now with the correct port in sickbeard and the correct port in autoProcessMedia.cfg everything seem to run smoothly
thank you so much for the help
now can a high octane weekend of media consumption begin, but first some much needed sleep (it's 5am where I'am, couldn't sleep before I had fixed it )
