Unrar5 SABnzbd+ 0.7.17

SABnzbd makes Usenet as simple and streamlined as possible by automating everything we can. All you have to do is add an .nzb. SABnzbd takes over from there, where it will be automatically downloaded, verified, repaired, extracted and filed away with zero human interaction.

Postby Revenant » Wed Apr 09, 2014 9:00 pm

Hello,

with the curren version (0.7.17) unrar 4.20 has been delivered.

Could anyone tell me if there are plans for an further upgrade to unrar 5?
Or is there a way to upgrade it by myself?

Thanks.

I believe you can replace these files manually with the latest releases... I'll try and have a look to see if I can update...

I am submitting to AppCentral, but you can test this
https://www.dropbox.com/s/9fs7ejgyifuecwz/sabnzbdplus_20140410_any.apk

This has unrar 5.10 and has a fix for the AppCentral permissions.

If you have NZBGet installed also these share unrar links, so depending on the order of installation, you need to update that also. I am posting an update for that as well... just look on the NZBGet sub forum.

Hello,

first I want to thank you for your fast response. I´m sorry that it took me some time to answer your message but
now I tried to install your package. Maybe I´m doing something wrong but if I try to install it my NAS displays an error message.

Upload not possible. Wrong format ADM 2.0 (Ref. 5041).

At the NZB section I could see that someone also tried it and it works. Same exception for me if I try the NZB package.
Is there an option I have to activate (like Android dev option)?

What version of ADM do you have? sounds like you need to update your firmware.

This is with the manual install with the file I posted previously?

What happens if you install the version from AppCentral?

The exception occurs with the postet version.
I deleted and reinstallt from App-Central and it works without any problems.
But it seems to be an older version (20140320).

Hi and thx.

Installation worked now. It seems that the problem was the download with the DownloadCenter (NAS) was the problem.
I downloaded manually and it works. The manual downloaded file was about 200kb larger..

Thx for your help
