SABnzbdplus Docker

SABnzbd makes Usenet as simple and streamlined as possible by automating everything we can. All you have to do is add an .nzb. SABnzbd takes over from there, where it will be automatically downloaded, verified, repaired, extracted and filed away with zero human interaction.

SABnzbdplus Docker

Post by clinton.hall »

Hi All,

Due to the constant updating of sabyenc versions, and the difficulties keeping everything updated on the arm nas models, I have created a new SABnzbd App that uses docker.

To use this, you need to install docker (and you no longer need python and git). As this App uses the official SABnzbd docker, it will remain updated and supported.

The only down-side is that it will not preserve your current settings, so you'll need to re-configure SAB after installing (you may be able to import settings since everything else should be the same (I use /volume1 as the dock point).

If anyone is keen to test this out, please download and install the apkg from here https://www.dropbox.com/s/n9sngrwo6z8zb ... y.apk?dl=1

Please let me know if you have any issues with this.
AS-604T

Thanks for you work on this. I was able to install the new sabnzbd app in the docker environment, however the only folder I can access is /volume1/downloads. I typically sort my media files in /volume1/Media. Is there anyway to add other folders/volumes into the docker environment?

Thanks

hm... noticed today, that SABnzbdplus version 20180105 stopped working today on my AS-604T and thought to take a look, if someone else do have the same issue - which is the case.

I found this new package, but am unable to install, it as "docker" is missing for AS-604T, how was you able to get this running @clinton.hall?
Maybe docker got removed in the meanwhile for AS-604T... which would be bad for us :(.

At least I found a solution to get the "old" sabnzbdplus working again by staying on v2.3.9 (solution can be found here).

Thank you very much!
Model: AS-604T (with 4x WD20EFRX, RAID5)
OS's: Arch Linux (on XPS13 9343 and NUC D54250WYK)
