Newbie from Georgia

Ok, I have been using WHS2011 and prior to that WHS and been so frustrated at how it worked for years I bit the bullet and bought the AS5004T. I know nothing of Linux and am hoping to learn from this site the do's and don't's of what is going on. Ran across my first problem tonight with OwnCloud but will post in the proper place. I am a curious old guy who used to work with Crays back in the 70's but more of a MS person now. Please help when you can and don't hesitate to chastise me, I have thick skin, I can handle it. Trust me, I will ask some stupid questions but that is the only way I know to learn.

There are a lot of tips in the Tips and Tricks forum, as well as specific app forums that can help you a lot. ownCloud's install instructions seem a little off the wall, but they work... I got it working so it can't be too difficult...

Just take your time and follow the directions and you should be good.
