Hi from OZ New AS-304T user

I intend using the nas for
1/ Backing up 4 computers
2/ Media serving
I am from Melbourne,Australia in Vic and have just taken delivery of a new 304T unit with 4x3tb WD reds.
(3rd Aug 2013) After a couple of setbacks I now have the NAS running very well. I have been impressed with the ease of setting it up, the support that is available.
I now have a system with 4x3th wd reds running Raid 5 with in excess of 1TB live data

My environment
Media Server UPNP 2 On Asustor 304T NAS
Media Player XBMC On Asustor 304T NAS
Mobile HTC Sensation x 2
Laptop HP DV6 i7 Win7 Home Prem
eeepc Asus Win 7 Home Prem
Desktop Lenovo Win 7 Pro

Hey mate, stupid question, what is 1TB live data?

I am also doing the WD 4 x #TB reds. on a 608 but with my existing WD greens mirroring my main PC for the critical stuff.

Any tips? You mention having initial issues.

HI konkonkaos 1tb live data means I only have 1tb of actual data stored on the unit today.
