Just waiting for my asustor AS-608T to arrive, so thought I would join the forum. Currently running two Qnaps and a custom slackware xen server all on my home network, plus I work in IT.

I hope to migrate all the services from my Qnap to Asustor

nas ( storage for computers )

Web site (php, python, mysql, wordpress, zenphoto, custom scripts (webcam timelapse generation), pywws for usb weather station.

USB TV Tuner streaming

Multimedia server replacing twonky

Icecast or similar if possible

Optware ipkg

torrentwatch-x to manage rss feeds

hmmm that'll do for starters, I currently sync the qnap 509 to a 209 with rsync nightly, probably do the same with the asus and 509 for backups.
