File rescue

Post by Tomnee »

Help !! I've deleted a folder with 4TB of data on my Asustor AS304T by mistake. :o The NAS is set up with 4 WD 3TB disks in RAID 5,
and is connected to my computer as a external disk (LAN). I have no back-up of the files. Is there a hope of rescue ?

It depends on how you delete those files. There is a function that can recover your files: network recycle bin. However it is not enabled by default. You can enable this function through each shared folder on Access Control. After that, the deleted file will be moved to "Recycle Bin" folder (you can check it in ADM's file explorer).

I enabled recycle bin, but it was empty. :-( Thanks anyway.
