SSH command to put NAS into sleep mode

Postby Gunthor » Thu Jul 11, 2013 5:59 pm

I have read [HOW TO] Run your own script on system startup and would like to write a script that will put the NAS into sleep mode automatically after the HDDs did not get used for e. g. 30 minutes.

So far the reboot and poweroff commands work as expected. However, the sbin/shutdown command does not exist and using halt causes my NAS to freeze :!:

Kindly let me know the SSH command to put my NAS (Asustor AS-604RS) into sleep mode :?:

OK I found it - it's not a command but a script:
Code: Select all
etc/init.d/NASsuspend

... and works as expected 8-)
