Re: Virtual BOX :Display Remote Server disabled - greyed out
The problem is that even if you have the APP "VirtualBox extension pack" installed and activated, it is not installed under the VirtualBox preferences. See capture file. The last two ADM update have this bug. Asustor is aware but dragging their feet to fix the last one.
The manual fix to this is to install the package downloaded from VirtualBox WEB site and to activate it. This is done throught the VirtualBox manager from the NAS, using the WEB access you do not have access to it.
Open a ticket with Asustor so they fix the bug.

Re: Virtual BOX :Display Remote Server disabled - greyed out
Thank you very much you both,
At this date people is supposed to enjoy the summer
Ok , this what is happened and I'm a damn noob :
During the last ADM update it disabled by itself Firefox and the Asustor Portal.
Enabling it again make the "console" work again.
The Vbox tools are still not present even in the Asustor guide.
There is a way to install and activate the new Virtualbox 6.0.10 via console SSH? Will work on the NAS? Is not custom made the Vbox app?

Re: Virtual BOX :Display Remote Server disabled - greyed out
Hi!
This is weird.
After the last (today) update of ADM still the console grayed out. Mmmm... so soon i checked the firefox and asustor portal app if they were enabled and...they were enabled!!!
So...restarted the NAS didnt help.
So...disabled and re-enable firefox and asustor portal dindt help.
So...reinstalling the virtualbox extension dindt help. (dible and re-enable virtualbox too)
So...re-disabling firefox and asustor portal make come the console work again !!! LOOOOL (and it work with firefox and asustor portal disabled)
So...re-enabling firefox and asustor portal again leave the console operative.
Mmmm... it's me or something is strange in those operations?
Some cache trouble? Just for understand whats going on
