Hi,
I would like a simple old school type of data management - 2 individual hard disks acting as 2 individual hard disk instead of combining both as a single logical hard disk space - on my Asustor.
That way when I want to upgrade or change hard drive I could just unplug, plug it in as an external hard drive and copy it to the new hard drive.
So which option should I choose? Would it be the Single or JBOD?
Thanks!

If you plan to "unplug" as needed, you should adopt MyArchive feature.

Re: Single vs JBOD
Hi Orion,
So I should choose 'single' and the 2nd hdd should be MyArchive ?
If a HDD is set as MyArchive, can I simply plug it in to a Linux computer system in order to extract data?
