External usb/s site tape. Request

Post by odj64 »

Hello everybody.
It's a lot of time that I'm thinking about an external backup using a tape, due to some (lucky not bad :D ) experience in my office by a virus.
I would like to buy a tape, to save the most important data (a tape can't be a virus target because it is physically out), but before this, I need to know if an external tape unit can be managed by the nas.
Thanks everyone for the help.

You are an ancient guy. You can use external HDDs instead (that could be physically out too).
