SSH is supported but not sure how they've done it as it's not required for local (two devices on same LAN subnet) transfer. Rsync is slow enough as it is, without encryption further slowing down the process. If this is intended for remote rsyncing it would appear to be possible, but the likelyhood is each device will need a copy of the server's SSH security certificate to get Rsync to connect over SSH. Also the SSH port would need to be forwarded via your router, to the NAS. Be prepared for Chinese hackers attempting to brute-force attack your SSH port if you do that though. Use strong passwords, and only enable the port-forwarding when your likely to need it, and make sure ADM Network Defender is configured adequately.
