Hi,
If I choose "automount at startup" when encrypting a folder, how does NAS know my password when I start it ?!
I assume it stores the password somewhere, doesn't it? In that case, where is the 'security' if the NAS is stolen? The thief only has to find the "admin" password, not the strong encryption password!
Do I miss something?
Thanks
Encrypted folder with 'automount at startup'

Hi
Is your point "where is the 'security' if the NAS is stolen" ??
Please use K-lock. Lock your NAS..
