ftp backup not working

Postby miamia » Sun Jun 30, 2013 3:55 am

Hi,

I bought Asustor AS-608t, firmware1.0.9.R4U1. I set ftp backup weekly plan. It shoudl backup files from FTP-> Asustor. Both in my local LAN 100Mb/s. After backup schedule creation I run this backup manually. It backs up my folder structure but not files! Why this happens?
Status for this backup plan is successfully backed up (or something like this), time elapsed 18 seconds, total backup size 15,7MB. But no file is in my destination! Just folder has been created. I clicked again on this backup plan to run it and result is the same - no files copied. What is this?

I have second backup ftp plan on this asustor (the same as previous) for another folder in my local LAN for 900GB. It is running about 8 hours, no files copied, just "created" folder structure and still running (but no files copied!).

Whats wrong with this? I am really unhappy with this and know I regret I bought this machine and not configured standalone linux box for this feature... My ftp is working properly, tried the same settings via ftp client and all files are accessible.

I am backing up through internet to 2 other ftp of my friend and parent and also get files (very big video files) on weekly schedule (Monday and Tuesday 1:00am) from them. So far it runs quite well and I got all my files needed. Kind of curious what is the ftp server you have and if the files are encrypted or locked?
