File Explorer problem

Post by Philioman »

Hi, I have a Asustor AS5304, it has worked in the past, I have been able up until recently to access it via File Explorer on Windows 10, now it will not recognise the NAS, I have pressed the reset button on the unit but still nothing. Also tried refresh on FE, new network cable, showing hidden files, networking switched on, there are some usb sockets but unsure what they do.
Any help would be appreciated.

Enable the WS Discovery in Services, SMB. Find out the NAS IP from your router, try accessing using its IP i.e. \\192.168.1.1\Home.
AS5304T - 16GB DDR4 - ADM-OS modded on 2GB RAM
Internal:
- 4x10TB Toshiba RAID10 Ext4-Journal=Off
External 5 Bay USB3:
- 4x2TB Seagate modded RAID0 Btrfs-Compression
- 480GB Intel SSD for modded dm-cache (initramfs auto update patch) and Apps
