Corrupt video files

Post by Prior1187 »

I'm using my new AS5304T as a storage for my video files. When I finish a job, I dump all the files onto my NAS, then when I want to edit them, I copy them over to my local drive. My problem is that some of the files are corrupted when I go to use them. I'm pretty sure it's not a problem with the SD cards, because it's affecting multiple clips from multiple cards. Never had this problem until I started using the NAS. Any ideas what might be causing it? I have my NAS connected to a wifi extender via ethernet cable (not sure if that's the same as connecting it to the router directly...connecting it directly isn't an option).

Thanks,
Alex

I don't encounter file corrupted issue. And no clues about your case. I would suggest you to send a support ticket to asustor directly. https://support.asustor.com/ They should be able to gather detailed information remotely.
