Hi all,
I'm new here having just got a shiny new AS6404T.
I'm trying to mount a music folder onto my Daphile Music Server (Linux based).
I have created a folder volume1/Public/Media/Music.
I have created a user media and added ot to a mediausers group.
Both the group and user media have RW access to /Public.
I have enabled CIFS and NFS on the NAS.
I have setup an NFS share on the Public folder accessible from the IP of the Daphile server.
I have also set up CIFS share privelages on the same.
The Daphile settings dialogue I am trying to connect to the share with is in the attached image.
Neither the NFS or the CIFS share is connecting.
Any ideas why please?
Regards
Clive

Re: Mount NAS Folder on Daphile Music Server
You should put "share name" in your anchor, ex: /Public, rather than /volume1/Public/Media...
And you can check ADM web -> System Information -> Log or Online users to see if there are any useful messages.

Thanks orion. It's working now. Not sure why but I deleted the shares and started again. It just worked this time . Must have had a typo somewhere I guess.orion wrote:You should put "share name" in your anchor, ex: /Public, rather than /volume1/Public/Media...
