I have the same question. My 1 volume is encrypted. Looking to setup encrypted SanDisk Extreme Pro SSD for backups. Sandisk provides software for Windows/MAC but how to do encrypted backup to USB drive?

Well, it's not the answer for your question with regard to USB-backups, but for some it maybe an option to use "encrypted myArchive"-drives.
Depends on your requirements of course..
