Synchronise data on external data carrier

Postby Throntorus » Sat Mar 11, 2023 11:38 pm

Hello, is there a way to synchronise the data on the NAS on an external hard disk drive? There is the "External Backup", but it does not synchronise, i.e. this function does not delete files on the external hard disk drive when they are deleted on the NAS. This means that this function is unfortunately unusable for restoring data.
How can a sync between the NAS and an external hard disk drive be realised? The goal would be to have an exact copy of the NAS data on the external hard disk drive that is updated daily.

I`m sorry (I`m not a native english speaker), "external data carrier" was a really wrong expression - what i meant was just a "external hard disk drive". I will correct this in my post above.

You need to check the box "Use 1 on 1 folder synchronization".
AS5304T - 16GB DDR4 - [Internal: 4x10TB Toshiba RAID10, External 5 Bay USB3: 4x2TB Seagate RAID5 + 480GB Intel SSD for external read cache and Apps] ADM-OS on 2GB RAM
