AS5002T Died: Recover Data from its Single Drive?

Post by redreptionil »

Last night, my AS5002T just up and died. I only had one drive in it (i.e., no RAID). But, when I booted up a Linux install and tried looking at the drive via a USB enclosure, it wouldn't mount. Running lsblk showed the drive as being there, but its three partitions showed as being part of a RAID array. Is there any way for me to get my data off this drive? It's not the end of the world. I recovered all but the last month's worth from my NAS backup. But, it would be nice to have those last few items.

Even single disk is being setup as raid1. Install mdadm then try force assemble the 4th partition then mount it.
