[HOWTO] PhpBB 3 version upgrade

At the moment version 3.0.10 is made available in apps central.
I would like to use 3.1 on my AS-602T.
Is there an easy way to make that happen?

Or else I would have to start over I guess ie removing database etc??

can't remember if i did it that way, but now i do it from within phpbb3, same with owncloud etc

You mean you upgraded to 3.1 already on your asustor?
