Hi there,

anyone interested in packaging PowerDNS for Asustor ? :D

If you own a series 2/3/6 Asustor it's very likely you won't get XBMC 13.x/Kodi.
But easily you'll end buying a kitchen from UK.

Well, i'm trying to compile it without any success.

cloned the git (https://github.com/PowerDNS/pdns.git), did ./bootstrap and i get:

autoreconf: not found

Installed autoreconf and dependecies from ipkg but still no smile :-/

Any help?

you can't compile on the NAS.

You need to download the toolchain and compile on that... or you can use a Ubuntu Linux system to compile on, then copy all files to the NAS and see if it runs...
For 7,6,5,4 series, you need Ubuntu x86_64
For 2,3 series, you need Ubuntu i386

Ubuntu 12 seems to work well for compatibility.

Clinton, would you give a try?
I migrated lately to Windows10 and VirtualBox isn't working at all with W10, so my ubuntu 12 virtual machine isn't usable :(

Beside that, i'm a total newbie in those matters (i downloaded instructions and toolchain but i guess i'm too old by now to learn those things :().
