NETFLIX and CHROME incompatible.

Post by spikey1973 »

Hey i am running: ADM 3.4.4.RAT2 on a AS6102T

since recently i am no longer able to watch Netflix through my nas. as the browser is no longer supported. I tried to clear all cache. but that didn't work.
the netflix error code is; M7121-3078.

it only comes up as soon as the media has been downloaded and it starts to play.

browser is no longer supported, upgrade or try another.
i have tried netscape, chrome and chromium by navigating to netflix.con.. all three give the same error. NETFLIX site error.

netscape: 6.6.0.2.R.1
webbrowser; 1.0.0.R5
chrome: 64.0.3282.186
chromium: 55.0.2883.75 ubuntu 14.04 (64 bit)

how can this happen. anyone have any clue on how to solve this?

help would be much appreciated!

ps: sorry is this is in the wrong topic but i look and could not find anything on the topic of netflix.

hi,

You can try myHD APKG ... myHD include an internal update mechanism (apt Ubuntu package management) to get the last stable version ... even after installation ... so no wait to get last update ... just a command
... in myHD (or after installation and after internal update)
... Chrome version is : 78.0.3904.108 (installed by default)
... Chromium version is : 79.0.3945.36 (need to be installed)
... Firefox version is : 70.0.1 (need to be installed)
etc.

N.B. remember that Netflix have parameters limited by Google on Linux (but not a real problem except 4k), also Prime Video ... but more annoying, because Amazon force SD mode when running in Linux
... so not limited by hardware / A.D.M. / Asportal or mYHD but by provider itself.

Philippe.
