ASUSTOR joins AXIS’s Application Development Partner (ADP) Program. A close technical integration provides AXIS users with a more reliable and comprehensive surveillance solution.
Taipei, Taiwan, November 6th, 2014 –ASUSTOR Inc., a leading innovator and provider of network storage solutions, has announced that it has joined world renowned surveillance company AXIS’s Application Development Partner (ADP) Program. ASUSTOR will now be able to receive the VAPIX® application components from AXIS along with technical documentation, software development kit and specialized development support in order to implement a more comprehensive technical integration. This works to provide AXIS users with a more reliable surveillance solution.

ASUSTOR’s Surveillance Center is currently compatible with close to 500 different camera models from world-renowned brands. With a firm emphasis on the needs of users, ASUSTOR provides a wide variety of IP camera choices for use with Surveillance Center, in order to let users flexibly create the most safe, reliable and cost-effective surveillance solution.
About Surveillance Center:
The Surveillance Center App was developed in-house by ASUSTOR and is available for free from App Central. It allows users to turn their NAS into an NVR, creating a reliable and cost-effective surveillance solution. Surveillance Center is currently compatible with close to 500 different camera models from industry renowned brands, providing users with a wide range of flexibility and choice when creating their surveillance solution. Intuitive and easy to use, Surveillance Center features a quick installation wizard that helps users to set up their cameras and begin recording in just 5 easy steps. Surveillance center also comes with 4 free IP camera channel licenses, which is higher than the industry standard. For users that require additional camera channels, Surveillance Center supports add-on camera licenses that users can purchase to flexibly add new camera channels. The latest version of Surveillance Center offers a wealth of advanced functionality including camera patrolling which lets users configure up to 5 different patrol paths with up to 20 preset points, IVA (Intelligent Video Analytics) smart search which helps users to quickly find critical events from amongst recorded video, and support for user defined cameras via Generic RTSP. Additionally, Surveillance Center provides comprehensive cross-platform support, allowing both Windows and Mac users to use familiar web browsers to access their surveillance feeds. Furthermore, ASUSTOR also provides users with the free AiSecure mobile app for both Android and iOS that lets users monitor their surveillance feeds from the convenience of their mobile devices.
