Set Proxy in Beta?

Surveillance Center gives you the ability to collectively manage an array of IP cameras. Through its Web-based interface you can monitor live view feeds from all your cameras and play back previously recorded video.

Set Proxy in Beta?

I cannot access Surveillance Center when a proxy is set in IE, although I connect via Firefox.
So it seems that the Surveillance Center software uses the IE-settings.
Can this be changed?
