unable to see Live View

Surveillance Center gives you the ability to collectively manage an array of IP cameras. Through its Web-based interface you can monitor live view feeds from all your cameras and play back previously recorded video.

unable to see Live View

hi. hope someone on here can help me please.

whenever i try to view my camera live, I just get the screen:

"please click button below to download and install the component"

But I have done so, and the plugin npASTStream.dll is set to 'Always Activate' in Firefox.

Nothing I try seems to work.

I have even upgraded to the beta version of the surveillance app, but still no joy.

I have manually added my camera and i can set an event action to continuously record, and it does so, although on viewing the recorded stream the bottom half of the screen is black - no image.

it is currently dark outside, so this is recording with IR lights in use.

camera is added as ONVIF Generic.

any help would be much appreciated.

OK, Live view is now working, but the picture is like this:

Any suggestions?
The preview image under settings / camera is fine.

ok, by using trial and error I have configured the camera settings to be a different brand and model, and now works correctly.
resolved!
