Mount FTP

Postby docb » Mon Oct 23, 2017 4:52 am

Hi,
I want to mount a FTP share on my asustor. Within the FileManager I can only mount CIFS Folders, with the App FTP-Explorer, I can explore FTP. But I need the FTP-Share (of my Raspberry) to act as a drive with full access. Can anyone please help?
Thanks in advance!

Just in case anyone else is a linux noob like me, I found the solution. If the "FTP" Share is provided by Samba and you use a standard configuration with cifs-utils installed, it is automatically also a "CFIS-Share" which you can mount in the Explorer on ADM. Problem solved, not to say, there was never a problem but with my poor Linux-Knowledge ;-)
