Share link (Unable to connect)

Hi Guys,

New to this forum.

Problem: Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at xxx.xxx.xxx.xx:8000.

I did a search for share link not working (via Internet) and found that someone had reported this problem before. However no resolution was reported as some where not having the same problem.

Therefore could anyone tell me if they are still having issues with share link not working and what they did to resolve it!

Creating a 'share link' through local network works find so is there something I need to configure on the NAS (604) to allow access.

Thanks

Yes, I believe you need to setup Could connect (or DDNS) correctly first. (ADM web page -> Settings -> Easy of Access). Setup procedure depends on your router / gateway. You can post problems if you encounter something.

Sounds that you setup DDNS successfully. Did you set port forwarding at your router? Here is the document that may be helpful.

You'd better to setup port 8000 and 8001 for ADM web page first. After that, you can connect ADM page from outside to check the cloud connection.

However there is a case that the cloud function will not work: double NAT. It means if you own multiple routers and cascade them, cloud function will not work correctly.
