Upload progress bar
You can not see the progress bar or speed when sending a file from another computer to the NAS. Is no information how much time until the end of the operation. Is this normal ???

Re: Upload progress bar
How did you transfer file from PC to NAS? If transferring through Samba, you will see progress bar in Windows. If you transfer file through Asustor Backup Plan, you will also see the progress %.

Re: Upload progress bar
When you log on to the NAS via Firefox with desktop computer at work, you want to transfer a file. I open the File Manager (File Explorer), I will show the public folder, give the command, send the file - it starts to send but does not show any information about the progress of the upload.

Re: Upload progress bar
Have you enabled the java when you open the File Explorer ? If you do, then when you choose to upload files, you should be able to see the progress in task monitor.

Yes, if you send from your computer to the NAS server - you can see the progress bar.
He's not if you send from an external computer. But maybe you're right - not java enabled. Check on Saturday.
thank you

Re: Upload progress bar
Hi
Seems that java is enabled but there is no progress bar or information.
I've tried sending files exe, avi, rar - size of 2MB to 700MB. No change

Re: Upload progress bar
If java is enabled, there should be another function "Task monitor" pop-up and instead of original progress menu, maybe you can try another browser ?

The same message I am getting from Synology 1511+ file station. Maybe it's the inevitable from using Java ?
