My newly bought NAS AS-604T wont show USB 3.0 devices?

As in subject line... I try to connect my two different USB 3.0 Hard drives into the USB 3.0 inputs of my NAS... but they do not show in file manager.... NTFS, 1TB each - One Western Digital passport, and one lacie.

Anyone?? They show when I plug them into the USB 2.0 ports, but then transfer is waaaaaay slow

My Seagate Backup Plus can be recognized without any issue with AS-608T either through the front USB 3.0 or the USB 3.0 in the back. But it will take around 2-3 seconds to show up the USB drive.

Did you connect the front USB 3.0 or the USB 3.0 in the back of NAS?

And if you check in ADM/External Devices/Disk, does it show the USB drives?

Yeah, tried both front port and port in the back....

They wont show in External Devices... but they do show when I plug them into USB 2.0 ports.... Maybe some USB 3.0 driver is broken or something

Anyone have a suggestion how to troubleshoot this? Would be nice have my USB 3.0 hard drives show when plugged into one of the USB 3.0 Ports

Hi Kelben, why not apply a support ticket to Asustor and let them take a look. They are very fast in response and very effective!
