Unrar multiple files

File Explorer comes pre-installed with ADM and can be used to browse and manage the files on your NAS.

Post by sunyang »

Hello guys, there is a method to unrar multiple file on file explorer?
If not, could be possible to install an alternative file explorer that can do it?
Thanks in advance

Select the files with the "ctrl" + mouse or "shift" + mouse (as in Windows Explorer), then delete the files.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
This is a method for select a loto of files yes, it works...but I want to unrar multiple files...if I select all the files and after left click appear only "compares" in the menu...If I try to unrar only the first file I've an error message back...

You'll need to raise it as a feature request to asustor.

On the other hand, you can map the shared folder to a drive under Windows (PC). Windows explorer can do this kind of task (if you installed 7zip).

Thanks for your reply!
I’m a Mac user but I found a solution.
I installed Linux on my Asustor and if I use it I can extract file and transfer into a proper directory.
After this I close Linux and open again ADM.
Just a little bit intricate at the beginning but works good!
Thanks to everybody!!

Hi everyone, Marco here!
I have submitted this to management to consider updating and fixing our RAR support as well as adding multiple archive extraction to a future ADM release. Thanks for your support!
