Hi, how can I download files from for example: Catshare, Rapidu, Fileshark and the other services?

Not with Download Center, but I think pyload can do it.
You can find the app on the app store.

To put it simply, with DLC, you can't. DLC is a torrent downloader, and makes use of peer-to-peer downloading like uTorrent does. Peer-to-peer means there are no servers hosting the content, but rather it's hosted on 10's, 100's or even 1000's of other people's computers/NASes. And you download snippets from each person, instead of the whole thing from a service. The servers themselves only host a file that tells who has what, and how much of it they have. Therefor they can't get into trouble themselves... (generally)

The services you listed are server-to-peer downloading, where the content is hosted on a server and people get it from that service. These services host he content and make links available for people to download. The biggest problem with hosted sites is if you have a bad connection to that site, you are going to take a while to download the file from there.

On a peer-to-peer, you are getting snippets from a lot of sources, and generally you are going to get more content from faster sources, sooner. The slower sources are still providing content, but you are getting smaller snippets or less snippets from them, and the vast majority from the faster sources. Peer-to-peer downloading has some issues. Copy written material is usually downloaded this way, so the laws of your country might cause you problems at some point. Hosting sites usually take those downloads down pretty quickly, for fear the site itself gets shut down.

Which is better? For most things peer-to-peer is as fast, and many times faster, but you can run into legal issues. Hosted means it's usually legit, and scanned for viruses pretty regularly. So it's a six of one and half dozen of the other, in which is better.... It all depends on what you want, and how you want to go about getting it.

So pyload is the one way to download those files?
