Download Center through VPN

Does anyone know if Download Center goes through a VPN if you set up a VPN in ADM settings?
Or is the VPN just to remotely connect to the NAS?

I believe if you set the VPN in Settings, it's for Outgoing connections (torrents, etc), and the corresponding inwards traffic relating to those. There's a VPN server you can install for connections to the NAS itself.

In the settings you need to enable the option to route all traffic through the VPN, otherwise it will not go through the VPN.

Not as far as I know.
