well, it is transmission 2.61, guess they picked that kernel just by chance,
unfortunately it's the crappy one ...

I would seriously love a uTorrent port. That has my vote! PM me if you need a tester too, I'd be happy to assist.

Thanks,

Sorry... Been a hectic couple of weeks.

UTorrent is pretty much a no-go. UTorrent is not open source, and the uTorrent devs have created binaries, but the 64bit binary wont run on 6-series since it is 32bit ELF!

I tried deluge, but ran into some limitation (can't recall which)

Rtorrent still looking most likely, but I need to figure out how to enable/configure the x-server for this.

Sorry for the delay. I have an exam coming up on Friday, then hopefully this weekend I can have another shot at this.

I currently use uTorrent to do most of my downloading. I'm toying around with Sickbeard now to see how it goes, but my ISP's new retention is horrible and I find it hard to justify paying for a new service when uTorrent RSS filtering has been doing the trick for free for a few years now. The Download Center app is close but seems to be not quite as reliable. I do love that the Download Assistant on my laptop (which has never had a local torrent client) took the place right away, letting snag and send jobs to DC directly, like 0day comics where I don't want the entire pack. I'm hoping to work out Mylar too, but the previously mentioned news server issue is hampering me...

There are various forks of SickBeard on GitHub that support better torrent downloading.

Also, a little inside info here.... CouchPotato is developing a TV section to allow TV management in CouchPotato (with great support for many torrent clients). They are also making it modular so that later they could implement comics, music, e-books etc... (I.e Mylar, HeadPhones, LazyLibrarian, Gamez etc)... But this is still some way off.

Hot! Couchpotato has been working pretty well so far. I avoid MKVs because I stream to PS3s native, but aside from tweaking it to avoid MKVs and checking in on CP every now and then it works pretty well. Having a Comic and TV module for the CP app on my AS-608T would be awesome.

Sorry for the long wait here...

I finally have a utorrent apkg to test.
Please test it and let me know how it goes and what changes are needed... once I know it is working as wanted I'll put it in the store, but for now please download from here https://www.dropbox.com/s/blckfahu8qdol ... 13_any.apk and then perform a manual install from App Central.

really looks good so far, 2 minor issues:

1. source url doesnt show up on the list bar nor general tab.
2. these little arrows should close the windows to the sides, but they dont.

and finally:
how to install a ssl-certificate to this?

well done clinton!

cheers
yogi

edit:
right click on a torrent doesnt open the options window ...
