Correct me if I am wrong but there is no Asustor app that will do this for me? I have tried aidata but that appears to be retreiving files from the NAS to your phone.

So my question is this cam Asustor do this and of so how do I get this done?

The other option is to get something from the play store that will do a backup of my phone files to my nas?

Thanks

There are related options for upload and backup in the settings of the mobile APP. We mainly use two ways: 1. Select the specified file and upload it to the NAS. 2. Automatically back up the specified (location/folder) files.

How much data are you planning on backing up?

What kind of budget are you working with?

What kind of recovery time are you looking for?

How can I backup and restore my entire mobile data (256 GB) as it is available in Google drive. Budget is not the issue. Acronis True Image is available but only for Synology & QNP. They specifically say it is not compatible with ASUSTOR

Hi,

I use Syncthing (google lay store) and Syncthing on Asustor (and other NAS brand)
It's enough for me, but read detail (on store) to see if it is OK for you ... don't hesitate to test.

Philippe.

hi
I use 'Foldersync pro' ( Synchronize Ultimate is a challenger ) to synchronize several folders , either from Android device to nas or reverse.
You can schedule synchronization actions, or link actions with Tasker .
synchronization is set in 'folder pairs ' ,one folder on phone ,other one on nas.
You must know where are stored data to synchronize on Android . eg photos and videos created with default photo/video app are usually stored in /Dcim folder, but albums from photo gallery may be stored in other location ...
