I used to be able to browse files on my NAS from windows explorer, but just noticed I no longer can. In fact, it doesn't even appear under the Network icon.
There's LOADS of stuff on the Internet about not being able to see NAS drives from windows (in general, not just ASUSTOR), but I've tried all of the recommended things and nothing helps.
I can't even map a drive / browse files from ASUSTOR control centre - if I select 'connect' I just get an error message that says the IP address is not available. I can access the NAS through the web interface with o problem at all, but just not browse files etc.
Most of the online articles claim say this might be to do with SMB, or enabling netBios in the network adaptor properties. I've done this and it didn't help though.
Any ideas?
Cheers.
Dave.
