608T and Samsung Memory

Hello all NASppl

I`ve been wanting to upgrade the Ram in my Trusty 608T.
I see that Asus provide their own Ram modules and the max it can handle is 3gb.
( from their website : 2GB DDR3-1333 204Pin SO-DIMM RAM Module )
From what I have read so far , 1Gb is already internal, and I can upgrade by adding a 2Gb module?
It happens I have a Ram module laying around after upgrading an old computer.

Of info I have on the ram is this:
Samsung 2GB PC3 8500S

From online ,info I find is this:
204-pin PC3-8500 (1066 MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM
Will this be supported if I install it ?

Hoping someone here can shed some light on this.

AS608T used DDR3-1333 204Pin SO-DIMM RAM Module, maximum support to 3GB.
For RAM installation guide, please kindly refer to the link as below:

If RAM is incompatible, you will not loose data.
