Does anyone have any information on how the ADM-O/S is functionally deployed as a filesystem , as I am struggling to understand. A box could initially be deployed with one disk or a raid configuration, but it is not apparent where the operating system is actually located, and therefore what factors must be understood in all different deployment types.
My Assumption is that the OS resides on the first volume of whatever type, but I could use some clarification.
