Replacing a drive

Hey. I have an AS-608T with 4x4tb and 4x6tb drives currently installed and want to swap one of the 4tb disks with an 8tb disk, all the drives are running as single drives. Here's what I plan on doing, let me know if it won't work or will result in data loss.
Swap Volume 3 (4tb) with the new 8tb.
Transfer data from Volume 4 (4tb) to Volume 3 (now 8tb).
Swap out Volume 4 with the old 4tb from Volume 3 and transfer the data on it to Volume 3 (8tb).

The action "Swap Volume 3 (4tb) with the new 8tb" will result in data losing on volume-3.

Thanks for the reply. Guess I'm going to have to transfer the data to another drive before swapping it out.
