I have an old ReadyNAS that I replaced with my asustor. Does anyone have a good method for linking the asustor to the readynas maybe via NFS, so that the shares on the readynas are visible from within ftp and in Samba on the asustor?
I've sort of doone this with CIFS, but it was weird.. you had to modify several thingsto make it show up in both Samba and in Ftp..
Maybe we need a link app for linking to other machines over a network... have the asustor as a central access point.
Would be nice to autoreconnect too if something fails. My old readynas sparc is on its last legs
