Searchlight not returning results of files

I've recently upgraded to 2.5.3.RE23 and noticed that using Searchlight returns no results for any files. The only results are for Apps installed which leads me to think that the indexing has either been wiped due to the upgrade, or that the process isn't working as expected.

Not related but Soundsgoodd as a process is happily indexing and does return results within the app itself, which is somewhat encouraging.

Is this just a case of waiting for the process that Searchlight depends on completing it's own index, or indicative of something more "broken" within ADM??

Mine is still working fine. No ideas about your case. You should send a support request to asustor to check it.

I've raised a ticket, so shall be intrigued if this a unique problem or not.

Well it's now working and a little patience was required!

I've done nothing else but leave it alone, so it appears that after the update it needed time to rebuild the index. I wonder if the process "updatedb" is responsible for populating Searchlight?

Time to close the ticket me thinks.
