Upgraded my 608T to 3gb ram after updating to ADM 1.0.5.
At startup with no additional apps installed the system consumes 1.97gb ram with no indication of what is utilizing it.
Any ideas?
High memory usage

Re: High memory usage
Hi there,
Can you please post a screenshot of the Activity Monitory > Prcoess, and order it by Memory (from high to low).
Here is one 608 with 3GB RAM installed in our lab, and it only consumes 574.93MB. Thank you,
Buzz

Re: High memory usage
Here is my Activity Monitor and RAM. Minimal CPU and Network activity. Doesn't show much.

Re: High memory usage
After 24 hours the memory usage has drifted down to about 870MB. Looks like it's being used as Cache.

Re: High memory usage
How does it go now? I wonder if you would like to set up a remote desktop session with us, so that we can try to find out what causes the memory usage is higher than the average value.
Please PM me if you are okay with that, then we will arrange the rest, ok? Thanks

Re: High memory usage
Hi Buzz
I rebuilt the raid array using 6 2tb WD Reds in a Raid 6 and the ram consumption is now in the 430MB range. I've seen it range from 348 to 436 while doing an rsync job from my old NAS.
Since it appears to be using the ram on demand I'm not going to worry about it.
