It looks like my internal HD get nerve suspended. I have the AS-606T with 4 Western Digital WD30EFRX 3 TB configured with RAID 5. After the HD initialization and synchronization the power consumption is now around 40 Watt (~20 Watt for the HD`s and ~20 Watt for the system). My expectant is that when the system is inactive for some time (for test reasons I configured 5 minutes in the energy settings) it will suspend the HD`s. But this is never happen. I need to configure something special or is this a Bug?
Thanks
Ralf

Re: HD Suspending
Hi Ralf,
Thank you for the feedback. Please help to check some items for us:
1. Do you have the newest ADM Version 1.0.4.RBU2?
To check the firmware version, please go to [ Settings ] --> [ADM Update]
If not, please apply live update or download the firmware form http://www.asustor.com/service/downloads/
2. Does disk hibernation set correctly?
By default, hard disk(s) will enter hibernation mode if there is no access within 30mins.
Please go to [ Settings ] --> [ Hardware ] --> [ Disk ]
3. Is there any application still running?
Please let me know if this helps you.

Re: HD Suspending
Already thanks for you support.
Related to your questions:
1. Yes it is the latest version 1.0.4.RBU2
2. for test reasons I changed the value to 5 minutes for internal but also external disks
3. It is a Linux system so there is always something running. I installed UPNP, git, iTunes, Node.js and Pex.
Thanks
Ralf

Re: HD Suspending
Hi Ralf,
We have tested it again with installed UPNP, git, iTunes, Node.js and Pex on NAS.
And it comes out the hard disks do enter hibernation mode in 5 mins.
Please let us know how did you check if the HD is suspending or not.
Many thanks,
