Hi,
I am new user to Asustor. My model is AS6404T. I am interested to know the compatibility of HGST 10TB NAS HDD to this model. Any advise on the best suited HDD?

I think you can refer to https://www.asustor.com/en/service/hd?series_id=9&id=hd&brand_id=1&type_id=&size=&class=. They tested those models at least.

My query was of the same nature, but I wanted to know about the SSD in the same context. I hope someone assists me in this regard.

Hi there! Unfortunately, we cannot get our hands on EVERY single drive in existence to test and make sure guaranteed compatibility with our NAS.
Our QVL List as mentioned above is the only way to know for sure. We add new drives all the time, but we can only officially support drives listed on our QVL.
