1.What is the difference between HP J9150A, JD092B, and 455883-B21?

Post by marek1956 »

I am in the process of upgrading an old HP switch to 2530 or 5130 to connecting two buildings. Because the buildings are located more than 300 m utp will not be an option. Therefore we opted for fiber SFP. I saw that the switches have 2 SFP+ ready ports available. But when I saw on the HP website https://www.hpe.com/h20195/v2/default.a ... id=3897977, they say the very similar description on SFP+ SR transceiver, and we find a lower price on J9150A, JD092B,455883-B21. which one should I buy?

The OP has been reported as spam. The reason given is that the post is off-topic. While I agree that it's off topic for Asustor's products, I don't agree it is completely off topic. So I haven't warned the user, nor deleted the post and banned the account.

This post seems to be about networking switches, which IMO seems to be right on target in a forum discussing Network Attached Storage devices. The problem is this: The OP is going to get better help on a forum where those switches are the topics of discussion, not NASes. I personally don't know anything about any of the switches mentioned, so can't help the OP in any way with helping the OP with his choices.

Carry this discussion to a forum dedicated to HP products. You are much more likely to get help on those forums than here.

I am closing the report for this thread.
