2 x raid 1 on a 4 bay

Post by huffie »

Hi all, currently I'm using AS-302T with 2 x 6TB (Raid 1). Was thinking if I were to purchase a new 4 bay, would I be able to put the current 2 x 6TB (Raid 1) and another new (probably 2 x 6 or 8TB (Raid 1) ? Will this work or will there be issues? Thanks.

Yes, you can simply move your disks to new NAS, then power it on. Your data should be ready for use. You might need to re-install applications from App Central.
Of course, you can put another 2 disks into NAS to create another volume.
