The Ultrastar He10 hard disk drives will not work for anyone, only in systems rakmount.
But I managed to get them to work and everyone can do it.
The correct way, you need to short-circuit the 11-pin hard disk to a 12-pin or 10-pin zoom. But I did not succeed, not very convenient, I need to remove the hard disk controller. It seems like it was shorted, but the hard drive was not defined.
And the second way that I got, on the hard drive, we isolate, we isolate 3.3 volts, 1-2-3-pin and the disk was defined and earned.
Like this.
Good luck

Until Asustor remakes the backlane, and he does not remake them (only on absolutely new product lines), this problem can be manifested on all new disks. This is the new standard of SATA.

Could not understand exactly but reading this cleared it all up, describes the issue with pin 3 and actually there seem to be He10s with and without the new Power-Disable_Pin feature.

Antonios,
Your link was excellent! It not only defines the problem and describes a solution. If I had to use one of these drives in my NAS I would simply take an Exacto knife to pin3 of the HDD SATA power connector, or you could try to apply scotch tape directly to pin 3 to isolate the connection. Of course the best solution to avoid losing the drive warranty would be to order your drive WITHOUT the new smart backplane functionality.
